(الامراض والاوبئة في اليمن القديم قبل الاسلام) من خلال النقوش السبئية القديمة. انور محمد الحاير 21- 3 - 2020 Abstract; The research discusses: diseases and epidemics through ancient Yemeni inscriptions, dating back to pre-Islam, the names of these epidemics, and how they were disposed of from the Yemeni man in that era, as well as the names of some other diseases that appeared in the ancient times. Inscriptions The researcher relied on a number of inscriptions written on stone rocks during the period from the first century to the fourth century A.D. الاسم (وباء) في المعاجم اللغوية: وب أ : الوَبَأُ: الطاعون بالقصر والمد والهمز. وقيل هو كلُّ مَرَضٍ عامٍّ، وفي الحديث: إِن هذا الوَبَاءَ رِجْزٌ. وجمعُ الـممدود أوْبِيةٌ وجمع المقصور أَوْباءٌ، وقد وَبِئَتِ الأَرضُ تَوْبَأُ وَبَأً. ووَبُوأَتْ وِبَاءً وَوِباءة [i] . وجاء الاسم ( ع و س ) في النقوش اليمنية القديمة، بمعنى: وباء، طاعون،( ʿ w s ): ʿ w s: Plague, Pestilence \ Peste [ii] . وفي معاجم ا...
